Hodgson eying Konchesky

(GSM) – Liverpool manager Roy Hodgson is interested in reuniting with Fulham defender Paul Konchesky, according to Sky Sports.

After working with the English full-back at Craven Cottage, Reds’ boss Roy Hodgson wants Konchesky to solve Liverpool’s left-back problem.

Liverpool have been linked with PSV’s Carlos Salicido but it seems they have turned their attention to Konchesky.

The Fulham full-back has been the subject of transfer speculation all summer with Birmingham having seen a bid turned down eartlier this summer.

Liverpool are reportedly ready to offer Fulham £3.5million to land Konchesky with the latter believed to have informed the Fulham management of his wish to leave.
