Hodgson signs contract extension

Crystal Palace have today confirmed that manager Roy Hodgson has signed a contract extension that will take his deal through until 2020. The 71-year-old has experienced a career rejuvenation of sorts since arriving at Selhurst Park, helping to guide the Eagles to the verge of the top half when it seemed as if relegation was a much more likely possibility after his initial arrival.

Hodgson has made a series of decent signings for Palace throughout the summer transfer window, and as we look ahead to the new season, there’s no real reason for them to fear anyone. They’ve got a great structure at the club, lots of experience, and Hodgson knows how to keep teams up at all costs. With a full season under his belt Hodgson could wind up doing some big things for Crystal Palace, and if you don’t believe us, then go and ask Fulham fans what he did for them.
