Looking to continue what is becoming a stellar end to the season, a high-flying Hoffenheim will travel to the VELTINS-Arena on Saturday afternoon.

Starting with the hosts, playing out another lackluster display in their 1-1 draw against fellow struggles Nurnberg last weekend, Schalke have drastically struggled after securing a second place finish last season. Holding just a five-point buffer over the drop zone and really starting to struggle at the back end of the campaign, the Blues have struggled to adjust to life under caretaker boss Huub Stevens. Picking up just a single Bundesliga victory since the 20th of January and really starting to struggle at the VELTINS-Arena, Schalke have lost their last three matches on home soil, conceding seven goals and scoring just one in return.

As for the visitors, coming off the back of another impressive display in their 2-0 win over Hertha Berlin last week, the mood in Hoffenheim’s camp couldn’t be any higher. Firmly on course to secure a European finish, Julian Nagelsmann’s side are enjoying a three-match winning run and have lost just one match since the middle of January. One man to watch will be their red-hot leading goalscorer Andrej Kramaric. Already bagging 20 goals across all competitions and really spearheading Hoffenheim’s European charge, the 27-year-old also has six in his last seven Bundesliga outings.
