Hoffenheim keen on Liverpool forward

Bundesliga giants Hoffenheim are reportedly interested in signing Holland international Ryan Babel from Premier League side Liverpool.

Voetbal International reports that Hoffenheim are looking to strengthen their attack in the January transfer window, as Demba Ba is expected to leave for West Ham United.

Hoffenheim sporting director Ernst Tanner reportedly sees Babel as a perfect addition to their squad.

Babel has failed to become a regular at Liverpool since joining the club from Ajax in 2007.

The winger has previously been strongly linked with a move to Premier League side Birmingham City.
