Bundesliga side Hoffenheim have revealed Juventus are eager to sign Andreas Beck.
The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move to Olimpico, and the club officials have confirmed the contact has been made.
“The Bianconeri have asked us for him,” sporting director Ernst Tanner told Bild.
“He now needs to make a decision in the next few days.
“For this reason we will soon be speaking with him. We don’t want to pressure him, seeing as his contract runs until 2012, but we just want clarity.”
Hoffenheim are thought to be asking for €13 million for the 24-year-old, but seeing that his contract expires at the end of next season, Juventus are hoping they will be able to lower the asking price.
