Boubacar Sanogo trained with his new team-mates at 1899 Hoffenheim for the first time. Afterwards the Ivorian revealed his first impressions: “1899 already asked about me some time ago, but there was no direct contact. Talks intensified after Vedad Ibisevic’s injury. And now I’m really happy that the transfer to Hoffenheim has gone through”.
“I don’t want to look back, I want to look ahead. It’s great to play for Hoffenheim. They are a good club with a good team I now concentrate on”, he added. His goal is to replace top scorer Vedad Ibisevic: “He is a top goalgetter, that’s difficult. But I know my qualities and want to demonstrate them. I’m ready to play, but the coach will decide in the end. But I’m looking forward to the new stadium in Sinsheim anyway”.
