Holding pens new Arsenal deal

Rob Holding has put pen to paper on a new long term contract at Arsenal, according to the Mail Online.

The twenty-two year old has been in and out of Arsene Wenger’s side this season, racking up twenty-one appearances in all competitions but has been rewarded for his progress.

He has already surpassed the amount of games he played last season and scored his first goal for the club in a 4-2 win over BATE in the group stages of the Europa League back in September.

Internationally, he has been capped five times for England’s U21s and was part of the squad for the 2017 European Championships.

Holding will hope to be involved as the Gunners travel to Atletico Madrid for the second leg of their Europa League semi-final tie on Thursday evening.

The first leg ended 1-1 and the North London side are priced at 2/1 to qualify for the final.
