Grant Holt hailed Norwich City’s 0-0 draw with Chelsea a “massive result” for his side after keeping their first clean sheet this season.
The hosts defended resiliently all match, but also managed to threaten in attack too, with Morison and Holt crafting a number of opportunities to test Blues keeper Petr Cech.
The 30-year-old revealed the Canaries had adhered to their game plan and was delighted with the performance the players put in.
“It was a massive result,” Holt told Sky Sports. “We talked all week about getting our shape and staying tight and I thought we were fantastic.”
“We wanted to force them wide and we did. If we keep working and playing in that manner we will be okay.”
The result means Norwich have lost just one of their last nine games in all competitions as they continue to impress on their return to the top flight.
Chelsea, meanwhile, are now 10 points behind leaders Manchester City having played a game more.
