Manchester City attacker Mario Balotelli craves a move back to Italy.
The Italy international joined City from Inter a year ago but he says he has found it difficult to settle in Manchester and has now set his sights on a switch back to Serie A.
“I am not feeling well in Manchester. I am happy with the coach and with my team-mates, however, I do not like the city of Manchester,” Balotelli told Sky Sport.
“I do not know whether I will stay at Manchester City. We will see what happens. I miss my home, which is Brescia not Milan, and I miss my friends and my family.”
The 20-year-old was linked with a move to AC Milan last year, and Balotelli has admitted that he’d be open to a move to San Siro if the Serie A champions made an offer.
“Milan are a great club. We can talk about it in the future,” he said.
Balotelli has four years left on his contract at Eastlands and the Premier League side, who have recently been rocked by a transfer request from captain Carlos Tevez, are unlikely to want to lose the Italian, who netted nine goals in 20 appearances for the club last season.
