Hosts Russia into final

Russia moved into the championship match of the Euro Beach Soccer Superfinal with a 4-2 win over Spain on Friday.

A brace from Shishin, including the sealer, ensured Russia would top Group A and play in Sunday’s final in Moscow.

Jorge struck a double for Spain to bring them back to 3-2 with a minute to play, but Shishin struck in the dying seconds to wrap up the points.

In Group B, Portugal recorded a 3-1 win over Italy thanks to two overhead kicks from Belchior.

Portugal, the defending champions, need to pick up a point in their meeting with Switzerland on Saturday to secure a spot in the final.

The Swiss need to win by at least two goals if they are to set up a meeting with Russia.
