Competition: MLS
Market: Houston Dynamo and both teams to score
Odds: 3/1 @ Bet365
Looking to continue their impressive run of form, Houston Dynamo will travel to the Rio Tinto Stadium on Thursday.
For Mike Petke’s Real Salt Lake side, after not managing to secure a mid-table finish in the Western Conference last season, Claret and Cobalt have continued to show their inconsistencies this time around. Now sat ninth in the table, although the hosts are coming off the back of a 1-0 win away at Seattle Sounders, Salt Lake have now lost three of their last five and after conceding 11 in those five, they now hold the worst defensive record in the Western Conference so far. It will also be their record against Houston that will be of concern to Petke, Salt Lake have now failed to win any of their last four against The Dynamo.
As for Wilmer Cabrera’s Houston Dynamo side, the visitors are coming off the back of a 3-1 win against New York City FC and they have continued to shine on their impressive run of form. After only finishing three points off top spot in the Western Conference last year, a win on Thursday will see Houston jump up to second. Now on a four-match unbeaten run, one man to watch will be forward Alberth Ali, the 22-year-old already has seven for the season and also have three in his last two.
