Huddersfield in for Green

Huddersfield Town are interested in signing Leeds United goalkeeper Robert Green, according to the Mail Online.

Terriers boss David Wagner is keen to bring in competition for Jonas Lossl, who recently arrived at the club on loan from Bundesliga side Mainz and kept clean sheets in both of the side’s league games so far.

Green played every minute of Leeds’ 2016/17 Championship campaign though he hasn’t featured in the league so far this season following Felix Weidwald’s arrival from Werder Bremen.

Former England international Green moved to Leeds from Queens Park Rangers in the summer of 2016 after four seasons at Loftus Road while he has also played for West Ham United and Norwich City.

He was capped twelve times for England, with one of those appearances coming at the 2010 World Cup finals in South Africa.
Huddersfield host Southampton on Saturday afternoon and can be backed at 11/10 for the win.
