Hughes wants City stronger away from home

Mark Hughes wants his Manchester City side to take their away form to a higher level. “We have been guilty of maybe letting the opposition take the initiative. We must continue to be positive and attack-minded on our travels,” the Welshman told Manchester Evening News.

“Once we have established a defensive platform I want the players to express themselves”, he added. “The balance of the side is coming around to the way I would want it, but it will still take time,” he added. “We are better equipped now than we were to get results away from home”.
