Premier League outfit Queens Park Rangers are considering a move for free agent Hugo Almeida, according to A Bola.
The Rangers are short of options up front after cashing in on Loic Remy and boss Harry Redknapp is reportedly ready to offer a contract to the Portugal international.
Almeida has become a free agent as his four-year spell with Besiktas came to an end and it is quite surprising that he is still searching for a new club.
The 30-year-old bagged 13 goals in 31 league appearances for Black Eagles last term before he was called into Portugal squad for the 2014 World Cup.
Almeida’s huge experience could prove a major asset at Loftus Road and considering that he is available on a free, chances are QPR will step up their interest in the coming days.
After winning their first league fixture this season, Rangers are available at 4/9 to avoid the drop.
