Hugo Lloris is about to leave Tottenham Hotspur for Los Angeles FC, according to Fabrizio Romano. The Italian journalist has reported on X that there is an agreement already in place for the French goalkeeper to make the switch in the January transfer window.
Romano has claimed that Lloris will leave Spurs in the January transfer window and will move to Major League Soccer club Los Angeles FC on a one-year contract plus the option to have extend it. The Frenchman is a mere symbolic figure at Spurs at the moment and is not even involved in matchday squads.
Lloris has been on the books of Tottenham since 2012 when he joined from Lyon. The French goalkeeper has been superb for the North London club over the years, but Guglielmo Vicario is the number one goalkeeper for Tottenham at the moment and has been playing well for the North London club.
