Competition: Championship
Market: Hull City win
Odds: 3/5 @ Bet 365
Enjoying a remarkable run of form entering the New Year, Hull will have their sights set on a rise to the top half of the table when they host Bolton on Tuesday afternoon.
Starting with the Nigel Adkins side, coming off the back of yet another very impressive showing in their 2-0 win over title contenders Leeds over the weekend, the Tigers have now won their last four matches on the bounce and arguably the Championship’s most in-form side. unbeaten in all their December fixtures and also winning their last three consecutive matches at the KC Stadium, one man to watch for Tuesday’s hosts will be leading goalscorer Jarrod Bowen. Scoring both goals in Saturday’s win over Leeds, the 22-year-old has now grabbed four goals in his last three appearances.
As for the visitors, while Hull might be looking to secure their spot in the top half of the table for the first time, it is a much different story for Bolton. Although Alex Neil’s side may have managed to pick up a point against Stoke last time out, only the Trotters’ goal difference keeps them out of the bottom three and their form away from the Macron Stadium has left a lot to the imagination. Bolton have now lost their last three matches on the road and have failed to pick up an away win since a 1-0 win over Reading on the 18th of August.
