According to a BBC press release, newly-promoted Hull City is closing in on a trio of international players.
BBC Radio Humberside reports the Tigers have held talks with Brazilian international Geovanni, who left Manchester City recently. The 28 year old has represented his country on four occasions and is mostly used as an attacking midfielder but is also able to play on both flanks.
City is also understood to be speaking to 32 year old Dutch midfielder George Boateng about a move from Middlesbrough and their chances of signing PSG’s 26 year old defender, Bernard Mendy have improved. It seems likely they are set to beat Sampdoria and Werder Bremen to the French international’s signature.
