Premier League strugglers Hull City have made big improvements in their relegation fight under new coach Marco Silva, who has been an instant success with the Tigers.
Three wins on last four Premier League matches have enhanced Tigers’ chances of survival in the elite tier as Hull City currently sit in 17th place, two points in front of relegation-threatened Swansea City.
Marco Silva has already started thinking about next season with Hull and is prepared to make a move for his former player Jefferson in order to bolster his defensive options at Hull.
The 28-year-old Sporting CP defender has been struggling to hold down the regular playing time under Jorge Jesus over the past few weeks and according to the reports from Portugal’s media outlet Abola the Brazilian centre-back could be on the move once the current season ends.
Marco Silva has worked with Jefferson at Estoril and Alvalade, respectively, and is convinced that soon-to-become a Portuguese citizen would be a valuable signing for Hull City.
