Chelsea’s title hopes took a further dent as they dropped yet more home points, drawing 0-0 with Hull City. Both sides had chances to win the game with Chelsea captain John Terry missing an open goal from close range early on.

2-0 victory for Sunderland against Stoke City and Aston Villa against Blackburn Rovers while Newcastle defeat 3-2 WBA and Everton beat 3-0 Bolton. 0-0 draw in Wigan-Fulham.
