Hull City have joined the race to sign West Bromwich Albion loan star Morgan Amalfitano, according to the Mail Online.
The one-time France international has been a stand-out performer in a struggling Baggies side this season, with four goals in twenty-four appearances, including the opener in a famous 2-1 win over champions Manchester United at Old Trafford back in September.
West Brom had missed the chance to make the 29 year old’s switch permanent, and the player’s representative Willie McKay has claimed that his parent club Marseille are keen to welcome him back in to the fold.
However, FA Cup finalists Hull City are monitoring the midfielder’s situation, and could make a move when the transfer window reopens.
Pepe Mel’s side currently sit in sixteenth place in the league, three points clear of the bottom three with five games to play, and can be backed at a price of 7/1 to be relegated.
