Hull keen on Jenkinson

Hull City have tabled a £3m bid for out-of-favour Arsenal full back Carl Jenkinson, according to the Mail Online.

The 22 year old has been told he can move on following the arrivals of Mathieu Debuchy and Calum Chambers, and the Tigers are leading the race to secure his services.

Swansea City and Sunderland have also been linked with a move for the former Charlton Athletic man, who moved to the Emirates in the summer of 2011.

Since arriving at the North London club, Jenkinson has racked up fifty-seven appearances in all competitions, scoring his one and only goal in the 2-0 win over Norwich City in the final league game of last season.

Internationally, he has won one senior cap for England, playing fifteen minutes in a 4-2 friendly defeat to Sweden at the Friends Arena in November 2012 while he has turned out for the U21’s on six occasions.
