Maynor Figueroa has agreed a two-year deal with newly promoted Hull City.
The 30 year old, whose contract with Wigan Athletic expired at the end of last season, joins on a free transfer and becomes the Tigers second new addition since securing their return to the Premier League.
Steve Bruce has been keen on securing the services of the defender, who he originally brought to England back in 2007, when he was in charge at Wigan.
During his five years at the DW Stadium, the Honduran international played almost two hundred games in all competitions, scoring six goals, including the coveted Match of the Day goal of the season against Stoke City in 2010.
He also has 59 caps for his country, which includes four appearances at last year’s Olympic Games, and every minute of his teams World Cup 2010 campaign.
His only international goal came in his debut against Trinidad and Tobago in 2005.
