Hull´s Greek midfielder Stelios heads home

Hull midfielder Stelios Giannakopoulos is returning home to Greece after signing a one-and-a-half year with first division club Larissa, the team announced Thursday.

The 34-year-old Greek midfielder is moving on after just half a season and only two match appearances with Hull following a five season spell with Bolton.

No financial details of the deal were released by the Greek team.

The Greek star has also played for Olympiakos (1996-2003), Paniliakos Pyrgos (1993-1996) and for Ethnikos Asteras Kesariani (1992-1993).

He was a member of Greece’s 2004 Euro winning side and has 74 caps and 11 goals to his credit
