Hungary beat the United Arab Emirates 2-0 in their final group game to win World Youth Championship Group F and secure a spot in the next round. Despite the defeat, UAE finish second and advance as well.

The Hungarians needed 19 minutes for Krisztian Nemeth to open the score at Alexandria Stadium, and Bari midfielder Vladimir Koman Junior doubled the gap four minutes later.

UAE couldn’t fight their way back into the game but the result was good enough for them to finish in second place with four points.

Hungary play their round of sixteen match against the runners-up of Group E, while the UAE face Venezuela in their second round game.
