Hunt close to Forest loan switch

Crystal Palace full-back Jack Hunt is close to securing a loan move to Championship side Nottingham Forest, according to Talksport.

The East Midlands outfit have already brought in five new players this summer, three of which are defenders though manager Stuart Pearce remains keen on bringing in cover ahead of the forthcoming campaign.

Hunt signed for Palace from Huddersfield Town last summer though he is yet to feature for the club.

He spent three months on loan at Barnsley last season where he made eleven appearances but was unable to help them avoid relegation to League One.

Prior to his move to Selhurst Park, the 23 year old mad over a hundred league appearances for Huddersfield, and was part of the squad that won promotion to the second-tier in 2012, winning the club’s Young Player of the Season award in the same year.

He has also had loan spells with Chesterfield and non-league outfit Grays Athletic.
