Barcelona's out-of-favour striker Samuel Eto'o said Monday he has received offers from Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter Milan.
“I have several offers from big European clubs. Which ones? Chelsea, Tottenham and Inter,” the Cameroon international told Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport.
Eto'o's Catalan paymasters denied the claims, however, although it is known that Barca's new boss Pep Guardiola wants Eto'o to follow Deco and Ronaldinho out the exit door – those two having joined Chelsea and AC Milan respectively.
Corriere reported that Inter president Massimo Moratti wanted to sign Eto'o at the end of May and following the arrival of new coach Jose Mourinho the San Siro side have reignited their interest in a player who scored 77 goals for Barcelona in 107 league games since joining in 2004.
However Inter may lose out to Chelsea for the former African player of the year's signature with Gazzetta dello Sport claiming that an agreement has already been reached between Barca and the Londoners for a swap deal involving Ivory Coast forward Didier Drogba.
