Cork City secured their place in the FAI Cup final for the fourth consecutive year after beating Bohemians 2-1 in the semi-finals played on Monday.
Graham Cummins and Karl Sheppard scored in the first half to give Cork City a comfortable two-goal cushion but it wasn’t their exploits that caused the most attention in this match.
It was the consolation goal scored from 40 yards out by Bohemians centre-back Ian Morris who grabbed the headlines with an absolute rocket.
The ball fizzed in off the underside of the crossbar and was so fast that not even the Bohemians players were sure at first that the ball went in anyway.
Have a look.
