(GSM) – Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf believes Zlatan Ibrahimovic will prove to be a real acquisition.
The Swedish striker had a fair start at his new club and already netted three goals in his first four appearances for the Rossoneri. However, he couldn’t prevent a sloppy start for Milan who only managed to win one of their first four Serie A matches.
“The fans do well to dream and we’ll try to make them dream again, but we need to be realistic,” Seedorf said.
“We are building a house: it’ll take time to see the Milan that we want. I ask everyone to have a little patience.
“Ibrahimovic is a good lad, he is generous and cares for the team. I knew him when he was at Juventus.
“I followed him since he arrived in Italy from Ajax because I liked him a lot. Coming to Milan sooner or later was his dream, but many things happen in football.
“Milan can go well in the Champions League and in Serie A, but the real test is Serie A. Certain things come automatically in the Champions League because you find teams who leave more space.
“It’s in the League that you must measure yourself and find continuity game after game.”
