Paris Saint-Germain striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic insists winning the Champions League is not an obsession for him.
The Sweden international has won league titles with Ajax, Juventus (eventually revoked), Inter Milan, Barcelona and AC Milan.
But Ibrahimovic still awaits glory at the very highest level of European club football – the Champions League.
“Even if I do not win the Champions League, I will still have had an exceptional career,” Ibrahimovic told France Football.
Ibrahimovic is often seen as a somewhat intimidating figure, but he does not think his team-mates are afraid of him.
“The best way to help the team is by scoring goals. I don’t think that any of my team-mates are afraid of me,” he said.
“However, if this is the case, they will probably not last long at the highest level.”
Ibrahimovic believes he is a born leader and is keen to help guide younger players on the road to success.
“I have always believed in myself. I am a born leader,” he said.
“One of my dreams came true when I became a footballer. I am a better player than a lot of others. I’m now the one who is an example for others.”
Ibrahimovic has been in sublime form this term, netting 17 goals in 15 Ligue 1 appearances.
