AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed he is not planning on leaving the San Siro over the off-season.
The Swedish striker said earlier in May that he was happy with life in Milan, but insisted he wanted the club to strengthen the squad after a season which he deemed ‘a failure’.
Italian sources have suggested that cash-rich Manchester City are lining up a move for Ibrahimovic, but the 30-year-old has vowed to remain at the club.
“No, no, no, Sunday’s match (against Novara) was not my last one at San Siro with Milan,” he told Aftonbladet.
Ibrahimovic topped the Serie A scoring charts with 28 goals, but would have preferred to see Milan win the Scudetto.
“I have been the top scorer in Italy with two different clubs, but I cannot really appreciate this individual award if my club did not win the title,” he said.
