The Mirror understands that Zlatan Ibrahimovic will leave Manchester United this summer if they fail to secure qualification for next season’s Champions League.
The Swedish superstar moved to Old Trafford on a free transfer from Paris Saint Germain last summer and has had a superb debut season in England though he could be set for a move away after just one year.
The Red Devils are four points behind the top four, with at least one game in hand over all of the sides above them while they could also book their place in Europe’s top competition next season if they win the Europa League.
In forty-three games in all competitions, Ibrhahimovic has scored twenty-eight goals – a tally which includes the winning strike in the EFL Cup final victory over Southampton back in February.
Jose Mourinho’s side face Anderlecht in the first leg of their Europa League quarter final tie on Thursday evening, and they are the 5/4 favourites to win the competition.
