Marca is reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is interested in the possibility of a return to Italian football – this time with Napoli. Zlatan is currently over in the United States attempting to guide LA Galaxy towards the MLS Cup Final, but beyond that, his future is still unwritten.
The expectation is that he’ll return to European football at some stage before he hangs up his boots once and for all, and this could be the perfect opportunity for him to do just that.
Napoli is a club steeped in history both in Italian football and in the wider European spectrum, and Zlatan is all about making history. Whether or not this comes to fruition, though, is a different matter altogether as Ibrahimovic continues his historic run in the game.
