Ibrahimovic set for AC Milan extension?

According to a recent report from Gazzetta dello Sport, Zlatan Ibrahimovic looks set to sign a 12-month contract extension with AC Milan.

The move would be worth around €6.5 million and will last through to June 2022, and at that point, it really is anyone’s guess as to what Zlatan will do next.

The popular Swedish forward has noted that he wants to keep on playing at a high level for many years to come and there would surely be no shortage of teams looking to sign him.

Milan looked set for an extended title challenge this season and while they’re still located towards the top of the Serie A table, their rivals Inter appear to be the ones who are in the ascendenacy.

Still, it seems pretty likely that Zlatan will want at least one more crack at becoming an Italian champion, and AC are definitely still a team to watch.
