Ibrahimovic set for Manchester United stay

Talksport understands that Zlatan Ibrahimovic is set to remain at Manchester United next season.

His manager Jose Mourinho is certain that the striker will commit himself to at least a further year with the Red Devils having signed an initial one year deal in the summer.

The Sweden international scored for the seventeenth time this season as his side beat Sunderland 3-1 on Boxing Day, while he also provided the assists for both of the other goals.

He has managed at least fifteen goals in each of his last fifteen seasons across spells with Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, AC Milan and Paris Saint Germain – scoring a personal best of fifty in all competitions with the latter last season.

His twelve in the Premier League so far this season sees him sit one behind top scorer Diego Costa of Chelsea and priced at 4/1 to win the Golden Boot.
