According to a recent report from Sky Italy, Zlatan Ibrahimovic is close to staying at AC Milan with the club looking set to seal a deal for him to remain at the San Siro for the 2020/21 season.

After scoring 11 goals in 20 appearances for Milan during the last campaign, the veteran forward clearly made quite an impact for the club and there’s a lot of interest in keeping him on the books for at least a little while longer.

The two parties are aiming to come to terms with his wage demands for a one year deal, because as we all know, Ibra is the kind of player that demands high fees.

Milan are aiming to be big players in Serie A over the course of the next few years, and while Ibrahimovic may be a short term fix, he can certainly win some games for them as we look ahead to the new season.
