According to a recent report from Caught Offside, Mauro Icardi looks likely to leave Paris Saint-Germain after three years with the club.
The belief is that as a result of him not getting into the Champions League squad for the French giants, he’ll be searching for pastures new – and almost certainly a club that is actually competing in the competition and is willing to give him a shot.
The 29-year-old hasn’t quite been able to replicate the success he had at Inter Milan with PSG and yet despite that, he’s still viewed as a real commodity within the context of European football.
He should still have a lot of time left at the elite level and if he’s able to find a team that can slot him straight into the starting XI, he could finally realise the potential that many fans believe he’s had since he first broke onto the scene.
