The national football team of Iceland impressed in the European Zone of the 2014 World Cup qualifiers to make it to the play-offs and they now have a historic opportunity to qualify for their first ever tournament finals.
The small island nation did extremely well to win the second place in their qualifying group, leaving Slovenia, Norway and Albania to trail in their wake.
And while they have been pitted against star-studded Croatia side, this is clearly the right time to be facing the Eastern European country given their disappointing run of form.
With the hosts boasting excellent team spirit and players like Gylfi Sigurdsson, Eidur Gudjohnsen and Kolbeinn Sigthorsson, to name just a few, there may be some value in 10/3 odds for a home win.
Apart from the suspended full-back Brikir Saevarsson, coach Lars Lagerback has no other selection worries at the moment.
Their opponents Croatia are still trying to recover from some disappointing performances under Igor Stimac, with new boss Robert Kovac taking charge of the team following back to back defeats to Belgium and Scotland.
Vatreni may be 11/10 favourites to win in Iceland, but this will be anything but a walk in the park for the visitors.
Croatia go into the game without starting left-back Ivan Strinic, but Wolfsburg forward Ivica Olic has recovered from injury and looks set to start.
The likes of Luka Modric, Darijo Srna, Mario Mandzukic and Mateo Kovacic are all expected to be in the starting line-up for this crucial encounter.
