The future of Dejan Lovren is the subject of much talk once more these days. The Croatian centre-back is arguably Liverpool’s last senior choice for a position in the heart of defence, behind Virgil van Dijk, Joe Gomez and Joel Matip, at the moment. His contract runs until the end of next season, but there are speculations that he could be set to leave this summer in search of game-time.
Nonetheless, the 30-year-old claims he’s happy at Liverpool. He is convinced that their present success is only the beginning of a great era for the club, and it seems he wouldn’t mind staying a part of it. On the other hand, he can’t rule anything out when the summer comes.
