In the light of recent failures of the VAR, particularly in the Premier League where blunders occur on an alarmingly regular basis, there have been calls for the communication between the on-field officials and those in the VAR room to be broadcast live.
However, the International Football Association Board (IFAB) has decided not to do so, and chief executive Lukas Brud has given their explanation.
