Ighalo wants Premier League return

According to Sky Sports News, Odion Ighalo has revealed that he would like to return to the Premier League during the January transfer window. The Nigerian international, who featured for his country during the 2018 FIFA World Cup, was the second highest goalscorer in the Chinese Super League last season after signing for Changchun Yatai for £20 million two years ago. The Chinese club would like at least £20 million in return if he did in fact make the jump back over to English football, and the report suggests Ighalo is even flying over to the United Kingdom imminently in order to discuss his future in the game.

The 29 year old started off brilliantly for Watford during his first stint in the Premier League, but while he may have scored some very important goals, his form seemed to drop towards the end of his tenure before he eventually decided to move to China.
