Real Madrid legend and current FC Porto custodian Iker Casillas has been linked with a move away from the Portuguese giants.
The experienced Spanish goalkeeper is nearing the end of his contract with FC Porto which caused plenty of media speculations one of which linked the 36-year-old shot stopper with a move to Liverpool.
Casillas is suggested to be open to the Premier League switch on a free transfer in the summer of 2018 with Jurgen Klopp rumoured to be keen on adding the veteran goalkeeper to add pressure on Simon Mignolet and Loris Karius.
Speaking to Radio Renascena, however, Iker Casillas’ agent Carlo Cutropia poured cold water on the Reds links claiming there was absolutely no truth in rumours linking Casillas to Liverpool.
“Of the crazy stuff I have seen, this is the craziest. It is crazy and there is no truth in it.,” he told claiming his protegee was calm and happy at FC Porto.
Casillas kept seven clean sheets in 10 appearances for FC Porto earlier this season but got subsequently dropped out for a reported bad attitude and usage of mobile phone in training.
