According to reports from the Spanish press, the Real Madrid legend Iker Casillas has agreed on a summer move to the MLS side Chicago Fire.
Tabloid outlet Migrantes de Balon reports that the 36-year-old goalkeeper ha already made up his mind and will definitely be leaving Porto at the end of the current season.
Former Los Blancos hot stopper has been widely linked with Liverpool but the latest reports claim he will be teaming up with the MLS hotshots Chicago Fire in July.
The Chicago-based club has reportedly rejected a chance to sign the Catalan striker Albert Ruiz in order to save an international slot for Iker Casillas who gave his nod to Veljko Paunovic after consulting with his family.
The Spanish icon is set to become the latest in a line of the high-profile footballers to move to the United States for the final chapter of his career.
Casillas has unfinished business with Porto in the meantime as he looks to pip Benfica to the Primeira Liga title this season. Porto is given 19/20 to finish above current leaders and reigning champion Benfica.
