Long-serving goalkeeper Iker Casillas could finally quit Santiago Bernabeu at the end of the season, according to El Confidencial.
The experienced shot-stopper has had a strained relationship with chairman Florentino Perez for a couple of years now, and he was on the verge of leaving last summer.
He has since been reinstated as the number one goalkeeper at Santiago Bernabeu, but Casillas is far from happy with the constant criticism directed to him from media pundits and fans alike.
Therefore, the 33-year-old is again considering his options and there is a chance he will express his desire to leave at the end of the current campaign.
Seeing as Casillas would never join another La Liga side, a summer move abroad appears on the cards.
The Spain international was linked with Arsenal and Monaco last summer, but it remains to be seen whether there will be some concrete offers for his services come end of the season.
