Portuguese daily newspaper A Bola is reporting that Spanish goalkeeper Iker Casillas has decided to leave FC Porto.
The 36-year-old recently lost his starting place to Jose Sa, and he is determined to leave the club in search of first team football.
According to reports, Casillas will inform the club chiefs of his desire in the coming days, although he might be prepared to stay in case he is restored to the starting line-up.
Considering that the veteran’s contract is due to expire in June next year, a January exit seems on the cards.
Iker Casillas had joined FC Porto on a free transfer from Real Madrid in July 2015 and went on to make 73 league appearances for the Dragons.
