Fiorentina are set to complete the signing of Slovenian midfielder Josip Ilicic from Palermo, reports La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Viola produced a major coup few days ago as they signed striker Mario Gomez from Bayern Munich, but they are determined to continue the summer recruitment.
With star forward Stevan Jovetic likely to leave this summer, Fiorentina are looking to sign Palermo star Josip Ilicic.
The two clubs have already agreed a €10 million deal, with €8m to be paid up front and another €2m depending on various bonuses.
Even if the final details are yet to be sorted, everything suggests Josip Ilicic will be officially unveiled as a Fiorentina player at the start of next week.
The Slovenian has enjoyed his best season up to date last term, scoring 10 goals in 31 Serie A matches, but that was not enough to prevent Palermo from getting relegated.
He is now set to leave the sinking ship and continue his development in a more competitive environment.
