Lazio striker Ciro Immobile reportedly ‘had a good laugh’ with his agent when reading about rumours linking him with a move to Chelsea to play Premier League football, according to the Metro.
It is no secret that Chelsea are in the market for a striker and with the January transfer window growing ever closer the latest goal scorer linked with a move to Stamford Bridge has been Italy international Ciro Immobile. Unfortunately for Antonio Conte however the player’s agent Marco Sommella gave an interview with TMW Radio this week in which he stated that both he and Immobile “had a good laugh together over that [the Chelsea link].”
The Lazio forward has been in scintillating form this season and has registered 13 goals and three assists in just ten Serie A games so far. Unsurprisingly his remarkable exploits have caught the eye of various clubs around Europe, but Immobile recently penned a new deal which will keep him at Lazio until 2022.
