The agent of Torino star Ciro Immobile has moved to confirm reports linking his client with a summer switch to Borussia Dortmund.
The Millionaires plan to sign two high-profile strikers to cope with the departure of Robert Lewandowski and they have already secured the signing of Adrian Ramos from Hertha.
Suddeutsche Zeitung has suggested that Torino striker Ciro Immobile could be the second forward to arrive at Signal Iduna Park at the end of the season.
The 24-year-old is enjoying the most successful season of his career and he currently leads the goalscoring charts in Italian Serie A.
His official representative has confirmed that Borussia Dortmund are showing interest in his client, while the player himself is keen on a switch to BVB.
“There is a contact with Dortmund, yes, but so far no official offer,” agent Marco Sommella explained to Suddeutsche Zeitung.
“Ciro has been observed by BVB for a while, and of course he would like to go to such a great club.”
Having bagged 18 goals in 28 Serie A outings this season, the Italy international is available at 6/4 to score at any time in the league clash against Genoa.
