Barcelona recently beat fierce rivals Real Madrid in the La Liga title race six-pointer to go four points clear of the Champions League and Copa Del Rey holders. The Catalan giants are in fine form of late, winning four on the bounce, and suffering only one defeat from their last 11 games.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, have been struggling. The Castilians have dropped points in four of their last seven games, which has seen them throw away their lead at the summit. They are now chasing Barcelona with 10 games left of the La Liga campaign to overturn a four-point deficit.

Real’s form has been a really worry, as manager Carlo Ancelotti was recently critical of too much individuality and not enough team spirit on display in their league performances. Barcelona are looking much more like a team on course to win the league crown back, after losing it on the final day of the season to Atletico Madrid.

Ladbrokes are giving odds of 1/3 for Barcelona to win the La Liga title this season as a result of their impressive recent form.
