Ince closing in on Monaco move

Blackpool winger Tom Ince has held talks with mega rich Ligue 1 side Monaco over a move that could cost Blackpool millions, and his father his job, according to the Mirror.

The England U21 international has long been linked with a move away from Bloomfield Road, with a host of Premier League clubs linked with a move to secure his services.

However, the 21 year old spoke with Monaco in London Thursday ahead of penning a lucrative pre-contract deal with a view to joining them in the summer.

Should the move go ahead, the Tangerines would only be due a small compensation fee, while if Ince was sold to a club in England, they could make millions by taking the deal to a tribunal.

Blackpool will hope to end woeful run of form which has seen them take just one point from their last eight Championship games as they travel to bottom of the table Barnsley on Saturday afternoon.

Paul Ince’s side can be backed at 17/10 to take all three points from their visit to Oakwell.
