Ince completes permanent Derby switch

Derby Country have completed the permanent signing of Tom Ince from Hull City, according to Sky Sports.

The midfielder moved to the iPro Stadium on loan in February and impressed with eleven goals in just eighteen appearances for the East Midlands outfit.

Prior to his move to Derby, the twenty-three year old had a brief spell with the Rams’ fierce rivals Nottingham Forest, while last season he made a temporary switch to Crystal Palace.

In total, he played just thirteen times for Hull, with his one and only goal for the club coming in their League Cup third round defeat to West Bromwich Albion last September.

Internationally, the former Liverpool youth player has been capped eighteen times for England’s U21s, scoring three times but he is yet to be called up to the senior squad.

Ince is new Derby manager Paul Clement’s sixth signing during the close season, and having finished in eighth place last season, they are the 7/1 favourites to win the league next May.
